We have recently procured funding to redesign the CERES café as a Zero Emissions Café of 2020. This project will aim to demonstrate how the most innovative café’s in ten years time must be operating if we are to effectively tackle issues leading to climate change. Key ideas include: solar cooking with biogas backup, zero net co2 emissions, zero waste, locavore menu and a green roof supplying herbs.
