The CERES Aquaponics Demonstration Facility is a project I've been developing over the last few years. It aims to explore and demonstrate new sustainable and low 'food mile' ideas in water, energy and space efficient urban agriculture which will feed our future cities.
Our reticulated Aquaponics test system pictured below houses 50 kg of Silver Perch providing nutrients to 500 basil plants via a series of hydroponic growbed filters.
This system is designed to show what could be built in a back garden.
